Neumann Paint & Supply is a business Payson customers trust. They have a 2800 square-foot store and are the go-to for paint supplies for homeowners and contractors in the Payson area.

Neumann had a chance encounter with a man who closed his paint store, and was willing to sell his equipment for a great price. Neumann knew it was fate and took him up on his offer. From there, Neumann Paint & Supply was born.

Originally, Neumann got first-hand experience doing home-improvement by managing a large lumberyard. It laid the groundwork for his future endeavors in paint and retail.

Neumann knows the building industry in all aspects of construction and painting. He realized there was a strong paint market in Payson area that could benefit from his expertise.

Neumann Paint & Supply offers several paint lines, but the most popular one is Benjamin-Moore. They also offer products from PPG, International Paint, Tri-Tech, Messmers, Gemini Lacquers, Graco, the ZAR product line from UGL, Abatron, SashCo, 3M and more.

He keeps a large percentage of stains, sealants, caulks and chinking products on the shelves for the many log homes in Payson. The Arizona sun is very hard on log homes and requires it to be redone every 2-3 years. Owning a log home is a maintenance program in Arizona.

Neumann does the research and utilizes all the resources he can to stay on top of new trends. “We work with manufacturers to make sure they’re keeping us knowledgeable on the products we sell. For example, in 2015 we had our Gemini coatings sales rep come to the store and provide a seminar to train stain and lacquer with their products. We invited our customers to attend and use that to help train our team. These sessions help with everyone’s knowledge of the products and how to utilize them, for both selling and application of the products.

Over the years Neumann Paint & Supply has led many local projects including painting the Payson Chamber of Commerce, the local rodeo grounds, and the senior center. Neumann donates the supplies needed, and the contractors he knows donate their time, to help create & keep a great community.
